In V4, "Posts" are the general term to describe the documents that can be viewed on a web site.  V4 has multiple "post types":

  • Page - Page post types are used to organize the different pages of your site. They can be arranged in a hierarchy, pages can be nested under other pages.
  • Article - Used for blogs posts or any other article-like content.  Article post types can not be nested, they are intended to be listed by publish date only.
  • Landing - Content used for PPC pages.
  • Layout - Global content to be reused on multiple pages of your site.
  • Team - Display the individual team member data.  Patient Engage automatically creates these, they can not be edited in V4.
  • Location - Display the individual location data.  Patient Engage automatically creates these, they can not be edited in V4.
  • Form - Individual forms are created and edited here.
  • Menu - Every custom menu is a menu post type.
  • Modal - Content that must appear in a lightbox/modal are saved to modal post types.
